Certified Instructor Program (CIP) in Crochet at the Hyatt Regency - It's a great time to share your crochet talents and become a certified teacher! People are clamoring for lessons and stores are offering classes. The Craft Yarn Council of America (CYCA) CIP provides crocheters with teaching skills and confidence.
The intense 10-hour class combines an evening session and a full day program, you must have advanced beginner's skills in crocheting and the enthusiasm to teach. (Note: this is NOT a beginning crocheter's course.) Pre-class homework is required and 15 hours of post-class teaching must be done. The course will be taught by Arnetta Kenney, an adjunct professor in FIT's Textile Surface Design Department. You can see all of the details at www.craftyarncouncil.com/teach.html. The Craft Yarn Council of America offers discounts for CGOA and TKGA members.
All registrations for CIP are handled directly by CYCA. | |
